Loved this place! Had such a good time here. The hospitality was honestly next level, felt more like hanging out at a friend’s place than a bar. I had the best cheese I’ve ever tasted (no joke), and they even gave me a piece to take home like something your mum or best mate would do. Tappo Enoteca is one of my favourite spots in Notting Hill—warm, intimate, with a wine list clearly curated with care. The food is great, but what really stands out is the service. Mateo, in particular, is fantastic. Even though I know a bit about wine, he introduced me to something new and nailed the pairing perfectly. What I really appreciated was how genuine he is—he’s not just about pouring more wine, but making sure the experience feels thoughtful and personal. That kind of honesty is rare. I highly recommend coming here if you want to feel looked after and discover some truly great wine along the way.
Top Italian Vino’s place as well as food. Very comfortable with friendly and intuitive service!!! Cannot be missed by wine lovers, especially Italian ones!!! Bravissimo!!! We will be back!!!
I have been in Tappo twice already and absolutely loved it! The experience is amazing, food is great authentic, wide wine selection for every price and taste. The staff is very welcoming and passionate, we have been "looked after" very well. As an Italian, I was surprised and amazed finding such a nice place in London. Special mention to Micaela, grazie!!
A very lovely wine bar with a great selection of Italian wine and some nice snacks. They have some champagne, too, but the main focus is on Italian wine and the selection is great. You can order some cocktails at the bar. There are no separate tables inside and it’s a pretty small place so even if you book, you will likely share a table with someone else. It was not a problem for us though. The place is decorated very well and the glasses/crockery were stylish. The staff were extremely nice and attentive, almost exemplary service. The pinsas were nice yet not exceptional. They had a great list of Italian digestives, too. Their home made tiramisu was a disappointment unfortunately. They did not seem to use classical savoyardi fingers because the texture was very stiff. It also tasted quite sour, as if something was wrong with the coffee. The place is expensive - most of the wines are above 80GBP per bottle and a very large portion is in 150-300GBP range or above, and the food portion sizes are pretty small for what you pay. The experience overall is great though

It's evident that there's a tremendous effort in sourcing the best products from top Italian producers. If you're a wine lover, this place is highly recommended for its extensive selection, offering a great opportunity to discover new wines. The venue boasts a unique design with a sophisticated yet intimate atmosphere, making it perfect for literally any occasion. However, what truly sets this place apart and makes the experience unforgettable is the staff. Micaela, Roberta, Matteo, Susanna, and Jay are not only highly professional and impeccable but also wonderful and friendly people who make you feel right at home. Not to mention the owner, Massimo, who is incredibly generous and welcoming. If you're thinking about grabbing a glass of wine, consider this your sign to visit Tappo Enoteca. You won't regret it.
Called in on the off chance. I was surprised to find a wonderful wine bar with delightful food and a large choice of wine, both by the glass and bottle. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly be back.
